In CAMP Staff Bursary Auction

During this summer, the awesome staff at Camp Ahmek & Wapomeo held an auction to raise money for the Bursary Fund. This annual event is a fantastic contribution from a group that really appreciate the camping experience and want to help others go to camp.

A total of $10,665 was raised and will be used to send kids to summer camps in Ontario, Quebec, and Alberta in the summer of 2016.

A big thanks from the Bursary Fund and Bursary Campers to all the staff!

This is such a nice thing to do. I have always wanted to join and make my own fundraiser. I have joined a fundraiser before when I was in high school. We organized and event, sold goods and collected donations from people who visited. We also had sponsors which made the fundraiser more successful. We gave the collected amount to a Childrens Shelter and they used it to to buy the kids supplies, food, furniture and toys.

A camping was made to the direct go from EBC. This mountain was so beautiful for camping snow falling were begging at that time.
